About Me
I am a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Serda’s lab. My research interests include genetics, metabolism, personalized medicine, and immunotherapies. I earned a PhD in Chemistry & Chemical Biology in 2025 and a B.S. in Biochemistry in 2019. During my PhD, I primarily focused on elucidating the genetic architecture of obesity by investigating the influence that common genetic variants have on metabolism and weight gain. I also worked in the mass spectrometry facility at UNM during my PhD, where I conducted analytical chemistry research. In Dr. Serda’s lab, I am currently working on optimizing lyophilization procedures for cell-based cancer vaccines. I hope to utilize and grow my skillset to help progress this immunotherapy cancer research.
