About Me
Lauren Anderson is a third-year medical student with dual bachelor's degrees in Forensic Chemistry and Premedical Biology. During her time as a research assistant in the lab, she contributed to work on nanoparticle-based and cell-based immunotherapies for peritoneal cancers, specifically ovarian cancer. Her passion for this research is deeply personal—Lauren’s mother passed away from complications of ovarian cancer, inspiring her commitment to advancing therapies that can reach patients who are underserved by traditional treatment options. She hopes to continue bridging scientific innovation and compassionate care in her future career as a physician.
